Erm, wow. It's been a long time since I've been to DA. Haven't been drawing much (or at all) lately... I used to come to DA to clear out my messages fairly regularly, but I've been neglecting it for a long time. I had 123 messages. I'm toying with the idea of deleting my account altogether. I don't like that whole thing where some schmo can just share my shiz on tumblr. Can you even do that? Delete your account, I mean, not share shiz on tumblr. I already know how to do that. >> Edit: How in the world did my mood end up as "irritated"? I didn't choose that. I don't even know how to change my mood. I have no idea how to use DA anymore!

It's amazing how one little mistake can ruin a perfectly good picture. I had a really nice picture of Rainsong (one of my characters/Neopets). Well, it was really nice as a sketch. The paws! I've finally learned how to do decent paws. When I inked it, I drew over the wrong line and he ended up with a weird foreshortened beak. I pressed on, thinking I'd be okay, but the more I colored the more unhappy I got. The colors were wrong too, despite having three kinds of pencils at my disposal (regular old Crayola, Crayola Twistables ---which let me tell you are awesome-and-a-half, but they don't have nearly enough colors---and the seldom-used but q

I hope everyone who celebrates whatever had a happy whatever you celebrate, and if you don't celebrate anything I hope you had a good day. My Christmas was drama-free, and that was really all I hoped for. Now it's over, and I am very glad.
